And on we go...........

As the blog has developed, it seems the trainees have taken the lead and produced some really good blogs. Already three blogs stand out from the rest, but not that the others are worthy of less of a mention!!

Erik Zoha has been prolific in his blogging and has actively been updating his work. Erik left us some time ago, but has obviously been bitten by the blogging bug and kept going since he has moved on. Well done Erik, keep up the good work.

Jim Heary had very limited IT skills before he started on the course, but has since found a real talent for blogging. As with most of the students, he was encouraged to blog about something he had an interest in and develop that to produce content for a blog. Jim's passion was the XBOX 360 and he has produced an excellent blog that covers all aspects of that particular gaming platform.

Don Cockburn has produced a fine blog about his favourite pastime, Racing. This is a massive achievement due to the fact that Don has always been afraid of pc's, and has had alomost no experience, so the wuality of the work he has produced so far is really quite good.

Another example of a successful blog is the one administered by Steve Donaldson. Steve likes nothing more than to travel around Scotland with his family and enjoys the outdoor life. His blog is dedicated to the places in and around our beautiful country that he has visited.

Old Faces and New Minds

Once again it is time for a new group, this time however, there are a few familiar faces in the fold. Two of the guys that are here are from the very first group I worked with in this job, Hello Stevie and Jim!!

Hope fully they will do as well at this as they did in the groups we held before.

As I always say, but i mean it this time, I will try my best to keep the blog current and fill it with as much content as the trainees need.

New Group

On Monday the 24th, a new group started the course. Some came to the group because they had heard of the content, and some came because the previous group had spoken about it during breaks. The remaining members of the group came simply out of curiousity. The group has been working for a couple of days and is already making good progress, so welcome to all, I hope you all enjoy the course!!!

Well Done

Everyone in the current group has just successfully completed the Microsoft Digital Literacy tests. I am pleased to say that everyone passed, which is not surprising given that the group has worked so hard. There is a photo coming that shows some of the guys with their certificates. I want to thank you all for all your efforts, it has a really enjoyable group and everyone has stuck with it, and its has good watching you all get involved and helping each other through the course, thanx guys.

A special mention goes out to Kat who starts work today with Sitel, well done Kat and good luck and we all wish you every success in your new job, just remeber to keep blogging!!!

Slow down!!

Everyone has now really taken to blogging, and all are racing ahead!! It has been a big success and the results can be seen by clicking on the links section to the right. It lists all the blogs that have been created, and demostrates the efforts of the trainees, and reflects thier hard work. Well done all, you have done a great job, keep up the good work.

Week Two

After a slow start everyone is coming along fine, Rob has managed to remember his password, Tam is helping out, and the blogs are looking good. Big up to Brymer for making it two weeks in a row!!! This week we are going to link a video to the blogs, hopefully with relevant content, then we will attempt to bring in some RSS feeds.

No doubt the proof will be obvious.
